Proving that there’s an upside to all this rain we’ve been having lately, the Ryerson Market returns today (May 10) for another season of mouth-watering edibles.

Every Wednesday from May 10 to October 4 (except for August 30 and September 6 during orientation), small food businesses and farms will set up shop on Gould Street between Bond and Victoria with an array of delicious lunch options and local produce, meat and more.

Now in its fifth year, the market—a collaboration between Ryerson Eats and Appletree Markets (external link) —has helped make the campus a vibrant summertime destination. And this year, there’s more market to enjoy: the event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a full hour longer than last year.

The market is also bigger than ever, with over 20 vendors to choose from. The Ryerson Urban Farm (external link)  (which grows produce on the Andrew and Valerie Pringle Environmental Green Roof above the George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre) will return, along with Albion Hills Farm, Firebat Coffee, Green Greek, House of Empanadas, St. John’s Bakery, Marigolds Maple Syrup, and many more.
