Seed ball for spring gardening

Join us on the DCC rooftop farm for a short tour where you’ll learn about Black Food Sovereignty and Indigenous Foodways as activity begins to return to the garden in early spring.

Then roll up your sleeves for a quick and crafty workshop to make clay seed balls to take home with you. Seed balls can be used to re-wild the urban environment by deploying them around the city to grow wildflowers that provide habitat for local pollinators and improve urban biodiversity.
