Simplify and manage the process of design, responsibly.

Adila Cokar founded Source My Garment in 2014. As a responsible apparel manufacturing agency, they function as a bridge between North American designers to overseas factories. The company helps fashion brands through the process of manufacturing fair trade products made from fabric.

Clothing is a basic human need, yet few people realize the global industry which designs and produces clothing is one of the most environmentally and socially damaging industries in the world. Research and studies continually portray a dismal outlook for our planet, yet we all seem to turn a blind eye.

We make a choice every morning when we get dressed. This choice can be linked to a massive global environmental, social and economic impact. The 2013 Rana Plaza collapse, which killed more than 1,100 Bangladeshi factory workers, is just one example of the damages caused by fast fashion. One of the best opportunities to address this massive issue is to address it at the design stage.

Source My Garment has designed a platform to help enable fashion entrepreneurs manufacture their ideas responsibly. Silaye is a subscription based design management tool that guides you through the steps of the product development process while helping to measure and reduce negative environmental and social impacts. Silaye enables greater control over your designs with project and file management, tech pack generation, connections & collaboration, live chat consulting, resources to measuring a product's sustainable performance and much more. Everything you need to responsibly manufacture is in one place.

Silaye simplifies and helps manage the process of designing responsibly - ultimately improving quality, saving you time, reducing costs and most importantly helps create sustainable products.
