Brian Millado is an early talent acquisition, community engagement, and student development professional with experience across the corporate tech, post-secondary, and non-profit sectors, holding a passion towards meaningful and transformative youth access & development. Committed to art and community, Millado has competed and contributed to countless local and international poetry initiatives and conferences, holding positions as Co-Artistic Director of the BAM! Toronto Poetry Youth Slam and Co-program Coordinator of Uniffect, a Scarborough-based poetry after-school program through UNITY Charity. As a student affairs specialist, he has held positions with Ryerson University, the University of Waterloo, and the University of Toronto-Scarborough campus developing meaningful collaborative student and community programs and initiatives. Currently, Brian holds the role of University Relations Program Manager – Canada with AMD (Advanced Micro Devices), recruiting students across Canada to make AMD their next professional home through strategic relationship management, community development, and employee support. Brian is a proud alumnus from the first graduating class (2015) of the Ryerson BA English program.
