Ryerson’s Aboriginal Hiring Consultant, Tracey King, is available to support candidates thinking of applying, employees who are looking for support settling in, and leaders who are looking to hire Aboriginal employees.

Tracey’s services at Ryerson

Tracey’s work at Ryerson includes:

  • coaching and advising potential and current candidates on resumes and cover letters;
  • career counselling and retention;
  • supporting human resources staff, hiring managers and departmental hiring committees in creating equitable and inclusive recruitment, selection and hiring processes;
  • facilitating learning sessions with a cultural based context;
  • coordinating The First Nations, Métis and Inuit Staff Community Group, and;
  • assisting Ryerson students & graduates in finding all types of employment.
