Struggling with tax filing? Indigenous students, faculty and staff are invited to join an online info session with Gdoo-maawnjidimi Mompii Indigenous Student Services and a CRA representative to get answers.

In the session, we’ll share:

  • the importance of filing your taxes even if you missed the April 30 deadline (you can still file!)
  • an introduction to the Indian Act
  • an overview of benefits and credits and how to apply for them
  • information about scams to look out for and avoid
  • digital services to make filing easier
  • services that Indigenous Peoples can access to help file their taxes at no cost

We invite you to bring your questions for the 20-minute discussion period that will follow the presentation.

Automatic captioning will be available on Zoom
