Biography:

Gianluca is has grown up as an avid sports fan that enjoys watching and playing sports as well as storytelling and producing digital media/content. Gianluca decided to enrol in the Master of Digital Media program, as he wanted to further enhance his creative and technical skills and learn more about this specific industry and the opportunities that are available in this field. In conjunction to his studies, Gianluca also works as a part-time program assistant for CBC Sports, where he ensures that everyone on the Road to the Olympic Games show has everything they need to complete their tasks.

Why Digital Media?

In themed entertainment, specifically, everything is digital media. From artificial intelligence, AR/VR, sensors, etc. It is all being integrated into immersive storytelling and environments. Technology is not slowing down anytime soon and I want to be a part of the generation that embraces digital media and creates new ways to interact with each other, find deeper meanings than just our devices, and open dialogue among communities that may not have been given the chance to be heard before. And yes, this can all be done in a theme park.
