Biography

Abhiroop is a producer, proficient in visual and audio media. He has professional experience in diverse fields such as music, marketing, and graphic designing. His greatest strength is his passion for quality and making the optimum out of any given situation.

Growing up with music, he developed a keen ear for compositions, and creating his music soon became a passion. He started producing music at the age of 15, and it didn't take long for him to get discovered by dance music fans in India. He started performing as a DJ at major club/private events and launched his record label, creating a platform for other underground/upcoming artists. Until now, he has worked on many original compositions and remixes along with scoring for short films.

Wanting to expand his creative horizons, he decided to work as a graphic designer which involved coming up with visually creative solutions to ensure maximum client engagement. Here he learned the value of a good design and the influence it can have on businesses. His collaborations with multiple international teams gave him a deeper insight into customer engagement and user experience.

Why Digital Media?

Abhiroop aims to build a career in user experience design. He wishes to augment his experience and skills in visual communication and music production with a master’s education in digital media that will provide multidisciplinary knowledge while allowing him to focus on UX.  

The future demands smart and innovative digital solutions that require knowledge of art, business, technology, and design which makes Ryerson’s Master of Digital Media program with its transmedia approach, a top choice for him.
