Biography

George is an experienced executive with a 20+ year history in the media and entertainment industry. His previous work experiences have included but are not limited to the Director of Creative Industries Division, Director of Entertainment, and Director of Creative Development. George has also been an educator within various institutions of higher education, teaching both theoretical and practical courses in the fields of communications, media, entertainment, production, marketing, and management. 

George is a leading programming, format, and audience specialist with a proven track record in acquiring and green lighting successful scripted series and entertainment programs. George has also produced some of the world’s top entertainment formats like Got Talent, X-Factor, Big Brother, Master Chef, Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, and So You Think You Can Dance, just to name a few. 

Currently, George’s newfound passion lies in gaming and esports, where he has immersed himself in the ecosystem as a creative, entrepreneur, and academic. His key interests are in this emerging generational audience’s interests, viewing habits, content preferences, gaming preferences, insight, expansion, and engagement, as well as their crossover to other media and entertainment content and platforms.

George pursued a degree in digital media to provide him with a holistic understanding of both the front and back end of the industry, allowing him to communicate with all the various departments and stakeholders with confidence and a clear understanding while affording him the opportunity to make informed decisions.
