Biography

Harshita is a designer and an architect in India who has a strong foundation in design thinking and physical space user experience from her undergraduate studies in architecture as well as her 3 year working experience as an architect. Throughout her academic journey at the prestigious School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, she engaged in research projects focused on innovative design solutions, which prepared her for conducting in-depth user research and generating valuable insights. One of her works is published in a book titled Redevelopment of Community Centre Precincts New Delhi by SPA Delhi and COPAL Publishing Group in October 2021, which sheds light on the structuring and methodologies used to restructure today's city precincts in order to create sustainable cities of the future. 

During her professional work as an architect at AtkinsRealis, she contributed to various large-scale multi-national projects such as the SkyLabs Innovation Centre in the UK, Railway Station in the UK, and the Six Flags Amusement Park in KSA. She played a pivotal role in the Creative Design Team, where her technical design skills, BIM coordination, leadership skills, multi-disciplinary coordination and expertise in digital tools enhanced the design efficiency. She holds expertise in digital design tools like Rhino 3D + Grasshopper and is a Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Architectural Design.

Harshita's journey reflects her passion for user experience design, problem-solving, and continuous learning, making her a valuable asset.

Why Digital Media?

I'm excited to broaden my knowledge of digital design while also investigating its intersections with other fields. My goal is to enhance my architectural and BIM skills by embracing the digital arena, where virtual spaces are fast expanding. I want to use my architecture expertise in conjunction with user experience (UX) concepts to develop new, user-centric digital environments that redefine how people engage with digital spaces.
