She also worked as a Research Assistant on multiple projects focusing on (a) the role communication technology has in maintaining, extending, and transforming personal networks and (b) disaster emergency management, honing her qualitative research skills.

Why Digital Media?

Marah has always had a keen interest in media, communication technology, and research. One of her goals is to utilize her talent and interests in combining art with technology, and leadership with compelling communication to empower societal change and inspire youth around the world to take charge of their lives and lead from the front.

She believes that TMU's MDM program will supplement her research experience as well as provide her with more practical and entrepreneurial skills, and industry experience.
