Originally from BrasÃlia, Samuel Dias' early fascination with the unique architecture of his hometown ignited a profound desire to blend his passion for art and design into a career. Pursuing this vision, he acquired a Bachelor of Environmental Design from OCAD University, where he specialized in Interior Design. This experience deepened his understanding of spatial design and sharpened his aesthetic sensibilities, strengthening him as a designer.
His growing passion for storytelling and media production led him to explore the dynamic world of digital media. Here, he embraced the challenge of creatively reimagining stories and spaces through technology, merging his design expertise with innovative digital practices.
Looking forward, Samuel seeks to apply his media production and team leadership skills as a creative director and producer. He is committed to bringing fresh ideas to life and forging new narratives. Drawing on his design background and proactive approach to digital media, he aspires to craft compelling, immersive experiences that engage audiences and disrupt conventional storytelling norms.
Why Digital Media?
My decision to pursue a career in digital media stems from a deep-seated belief in the power of technology to transform traditional art and design narratives. Inspired by the architectural wonders of my hometown, BrasÃlia, and driven by my educational background in Environmental Design and Interior Design, I've always sought to explore how spaces and stories intersect in innovative ways.
Digital media presents the perfect canvas to blend these interests, offering a dynamic platform for storytelling where emerging technologies enable the creation of immersive experiences. This field aligns with my desire to challenge and expand the boundaries of conventional storytelling and positions me to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
