If there’s a year that demonstrates the collective resilience of Ryerson graduates, many would agree, it’s this one.

And after a year of incredibly hard work, this year’s grads will be honoured for their remarkable achievements at spring convocation.

Virtual ceremonies for Ryerson’s Spring 2021 graduating class will take place June 21-24.

Extraordinary leaders recognized with honorary degrees

On June 21 at 2:30 p.m., this year’s distinguished group of honorary doctorate recipients - including  girls’ education activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai - will be bestowed with the university’s highest honour.

Additional recipients include Donette Chin-Loy Chang, Mitch Frazer, Silvio De Gasperis, Emmanuelle Gattuso, Gregory Regis and Tanya Talaga.

Ceremony dates, times

All other ceremonies will take place between June 22-24. For ceremony times by faculty and department, please visit https://www.torontomu.ca/convocation/dates/.
