Pay your Deposit

Your tuition deposit amount is now $200 and due June 4th, 2020

We understand the challenge families and students may be having in the current COVID-19 climate, and while we will still require a tuition deposit, we are lowering it to $200 (from $600). Students who require additional assistance and are committed to attending Ryerson may contact

Payment deadlines are enforced. Your tuition deposit payment confirms your intention to attend. If you accept this Offer, your payment must be made by June 4, 2020 otherwise this Offer will be cancelled. Please note: do not submit your payment before May 15, 2020. Your payment is a portion of your full fees and will be credited towards your tuition fees at your confirmed college site in the fall.

How to Pay Your Deposit 

Online or Telephone Banking

If paying from within Canada (and through a Canadian bank account), follow these steps:

  1. Sign up with your bank for online or telephone banking
  2. Add Ryerson University – Tuition and Res Fees as a payee
  3. Your nine-digit Ryerson Number is your account number
  4. Know your deadlines to avoid late payment charges

Please allow 3 business days for your payment to be applied to your Ryerson account.

Consequences for Late or Incorrect Tuition Deposits

Payment deadlines are strictly enforced. To maintain your admitted status your tuition deposit must be paid correctly and on time. Non-payment informs us that you no longer wish to pursue studies in the Collaborative Nursing degree program, and your place in your program will be cancelled.

The acceptance of late payments is solely at the discretion of Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment and subject to confirmation of available space. Payments received and processed after the deadline will be reviewed on this basis.

Verify your Tuition Deposit Has Been Received

  1. Login to, opens in new window
  2. Click on the RAMSS tab
  3. In your Student Center, click on Account Inquiry
  4. Click on Spring/Summer Term link to confirm if payment was received
  5. Payments will appear as a credit in your account

Cancelling your Confirmation

To cancel your Offer of Admission, visit the OUAC, external link, opens in new window and decline your confirmed Offer.

Ryerson or, external link, opens in new window applicants must complete and submit the PDF fileRyerson Change form, indicating you would like to decline your Offer in section F.


Refund Schedule 

Your tuition deposit will be refunded to you as follows:

  • Up to (and including) July 17, 2020: Full refund
  • July 18 - August 14, 2020 (inclusive): Full refund minus $100
  • August 15, 2020 onward: Full refund minus $200

Once classes have begun in September, an Application to Withdraw form must be completed and submitted to Ryerson University.
