PawCharge has developed a battery sharing program and prototype that allows smartphone users to charge their mobile devices on-the-go. PawCharge stations dispense portable battery chargers that users can travel with until their devices are charged. Once charged, users can drop-off portable chargers at accessible PawCharge stations. By recharging, reusing and recycling portable battery charges, PawCharge reduces the harm on the environment caused by discarded hazardous lithium-ion and lithium-polymer batteries.
