Fundamentals in Midwifery Care III

This course offers weekly on-line tutorials and a clinical placement(s). Content builds on MWF 122 primary care and collaboration competencies. This course explores professional issues such as promotion of physiologic childbirth, population health, sexual health and reproductive justice, midwifery care in low resource settings, health systems policy, quality and safety in health care, midwifery leadership, and ethics. Clinical placements are in midwifery and/or inter-professional practice settings. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
