Curriculum Analysis Workshop

In this workshop, we review the purpose and objectives of analyzing a curriculum map, and of evaluating the teaching and assessment methods employed throughout the program. We review the reports generated by Curriculum Insights and identify how to analyze this data to identify the curricular strengths and areas for improvement and strategize how to supplement and incorporate this analysis within the self study.

Aligning LOs, DLEs, and EDI

In this workshop, we discuss the importance of aligning the program’s objectives and learning outcomes with institutional priorities, provincial standards, and principles of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). We review the data provided in the EDI Report for PPR and strategize how to discuss and assess the ways in which EDI is reflected in the program and curriculum.

Quality Enhancement & Monitoring

In this workshop, we discuss the importance of continued monitoring and assessment of the program beyond the PPR. We discuss how to ensure potential recommendation items are informed by the data and analysis included in the self study, and identify strategies for tracking and measuring progress moving forward.

This information session provides further clarity on the process of planning stage two of the PPR: the Peer Review Team site visit and review. The information session covers how to schedule your PRT site visit, how to pick reviewers, how to set the site-visit agenda, and expenses.

In this workshop, we explore strategies for effective data triangulation in PPR. We examine relevant points of comparison across UPO data tables and identify how to incorporate relevant data sources to enhance analysis throughout the self-study.
