Class Descriptions

All classes are small-space friendly!

Taking a muscle conditioning class?  What type of resistance equipment do you need?

Traditional resistance equipment like dumbbells, barbells, tubing, and weight plates can be used, in addition to common household items such as water bottles, soup cans, detergent jugs or other items. And don’t forget, body weight can also be used for many exercises as well!

 

Class Name Description
2021 Strong Join us for a muscle conditioning workout aimed to get your body back into the swing of things with lighter & simpler exercises to regain your muscular strength & endurance. Let’s end 2021 stronger together!
Barre Barre uses a variety of dance movements from ballet, with pilates style exercises to strengthen your body. With a strong emphasis on posture and alignment, improving balance, grace and coordination.
Cardio Kickboxing Cardio kickboxing combines boxing moves like jabs, cross, uppercut, hook with various kicks and boxing footwork for an exhilarating workout. This high-energy workout can be performed both low & high impact making it a great workout for all levels. Get your defense on!
Cardio Sculpt Cardio Sculpt includes a combination of muscle conditioning exercises using bodyweight and/or resistance equipment with intervals of high and low impact cardiovascular activity. A great full body workout!
Chair Strength & Stetch Whether in a wheelchair, suffering from back or lower body injury, or you simply want to try something new, this class will surprise you with how fun & challenging it is. Everyone's needs are different therefore we highly encourage you to speak with the instructor so that they can cater the class to YOU! Come learn effective & innovative ways to move your body seated in the comfort of your home!
DanceFire This dance fitness workout is intended to keep your body moving while listening to today’s latest music. DanceFIRE infuses bursts of high energy dance moves with resistance training and core conditioning, guaranteed to improve your wellbeing and put a smile on your face as you jam to some of your favourite beats!
Mobility & Flexibility A full body stretch workout that focuses on improving mobility, flexibility, range of motion and relieving aches, pains and joint stiffness, while incorporating a little strength into the mix. Reawaken your body's natural functional movement patterns as you flow dynamically through one move or stretch to the next.
Flow BodyArt You reconnect with our innate body wisdom through the flow of the movement. Various types of breath will be at the foundation of these movements and the music will be the inspiration. The fluid, gentle movements will create ease in mind, body, heart and soul.
GrooveFIT GrooveFIT is a fun way to get your daily dose of cardio, toning & stretching while you DANCE! Find your inner groove while dancing to popular songs from different genres, styles and cultures.
HIIT Me Up HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is an effective training technique whereby you give it all you got with quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. A great full body workout in a short amount of time!
HIIT 20 : Yoga 20 The ultimate fitness fusion class! Start with 20 minutes of ‘High-Intensity Interval Training’ - a form of interval training - a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. End with 20 minutes of yoga whereby you will wind down and stretch the body as you reconnect with your breath.
Hip Hop Fitness Bring your best moves for this high energy dance-fitness class highlighting Hip Hop and Funk styles taught to a compilation of popular Hip Hop and R&B music. Come learn some dance steps and find your style!
Pilates This class will help you develop a strong core which improves coordination and balance while toning your arms and legs. Pilates is great for anyone, from beginners to dancers to athletes. 
Shadow Skip & Sculpt Shadow skip is a skipping workout MINUS the skipping rope making it accessible to more students but still packing the cardio! Sculpt focuses on efficient & effective muscle conditioning exercises. Now, combine the two together and you will alternate skipping with sculpting leaving you with a full body, multi-purpose, multi-bang workout!
Spin Express New to spin or think that 30 minutes is more than enough time on an indoor bike? You are not alone! This class is for you! All the cardiovascular benefits of a regular spin class in less time. Win-Win!
Spin & Stretch After spending 25-30 cycling-packed minutes, take 10-15 minutes to give your body the stretch & TLC it deserves!
Stretch & Flex This class works as a form of active meditation where you can focus on your body and your breath, as we stretch everything from the head to the toes. Stretching builds both strength and flexibility, helping our bodies to stay healthy. 
TMC Total Muscle Conditioning! This is a full body strengthening class packed into 30 minutes. Exercises vary class to class in order to keep your muscles guessing & to deliver an enjoyable experience every time! 
Yoga A traditional style that uses classical yoga postures and stretches with a focus on alignment and breath to develop flexibility and relaxation at a comfortable pace.
Yoga Flow Yoga Flow emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by the power of breath. The pace can vary in this style of yoga but it is often faster with sound progression from basic to complex, but is also incredibly adaptable for all levels.
Zumba A dance fitness class that is based on Latin dances and international music - salsa, merengue, rumba, reggaeton, soca and so much more!  An ultra fun & exciting way to move your body while getting all the physical & mental health benefits.
