Facility Access Waiver

Membership to Athletics & Recreation is included in tuition fees for TMU undergraduate and graduate students.  However, before your OneCard will work to allow you access to RAC and MAC, students need to sign a one-time participation waiver.  Click below or on the instructional video to the right for instructions on how to sign the waiver from your mobile device or computer.

Use a web browser to navigate to our Member Portal at recreation.ryersonrams.ca (external link)  (updated URL to reflect our name change to TMU is coming soon!).

  3. Now, use your TMU Online username and password to Sign In.

Note: TMU students must use the MY.TMU.CA button; using your TMU online username and password in the "Email or Username" pop-up on the portal will not work for students.

  1. Having read through the waiver language and the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) questions you will find yourself at the bottom of the Waiver, which includes a digital signature capture box and two bottons: Accept Later and Sign Now.
  2. If you have answered "No" honestely to all PAR-Q questions you can now click on the signature capture box and enter your signature.
  3. Click the Sign Now button at the bottom right side of the waiver.
  4. If you have answered "Yes" to any of the PAR-Q questions, you should consult your doctor before becoming physically active.

Note: clicking the Accept Later button will allow you to pass by the waiver without signing it.  However, your OneCard will not work to allow access to RAC or MAC until this waiver has been signed.

Once you have signed the waiver and clicked the Sign Now button, your OneCard has been activated for facility access.  You can now tap your card on any of the readers beside the entry turnstile at RAC or MAC to unlock a turnstile, allowing you to enter the facilities and begin enjoying the benefits of your student membership.

If you have any questions about your membership or accessing RAC or MAC, please contact Customer Service and Outreach at 416-979-5096 or recreation@torontomu.ca
