Registering for academic accommodations at Ryerson

Students can register with Academic Accommodation Support (AAS) using our online intake form. Review the steps and documentation requirements listed under the Academic Accommodation Support - How to Register section. We work with students to create and implement individualized academic accommodation plans so students can more fully participate in their studies.

Writing my academic paper

Undergraduate or Continuing Education students can book an individual help appointment - meet in person or work from home with Writing Support. We also offer a wide range for workshops and writing groups to help students develop their writing skills.

Graduate students can book with Graduate Student Support, receive dissertation assistance or attend a writing retreat.

Understanding a math or statistics problem

We offer comprehensive support, both in-person and online, to all Ryerson students looking for help with math, statistics, and computer science.

Sending my accommodation letter(s) or booking a test/exam with accommodation

Once registered with AAS, you need to activate your accommodations each semester.

Send your electronic accommodation letters to your professor or course, or book (10-days in advance) your Quiz, Test, or Exams bookings with Accommodation via our online system:

Creating a study plan and managing my time

Meet with a Peer Academic Coach to develop personalized study plans. You can meet in person  or online, to work on time-management, effective note-taking, test and exam preparation, reading strategies and more!

Developing my English language skills

We offer programs designed to help multilingual students improve and develop their English language communication skills – with writing, speaking, listening, and reading. Students can book an individual help appointment or join a discussion group to gain oral fluency and interpersonal communication skills through group discussions, real-life tasks and presentations.
