Robin McLuskie

Vice President, Colliers International Hotels
Graduate, Hospitality & Tourism Management, 2005

Robin joined Colliers in 2005 and is responsible for business development, underwriting and managing client communication for hotel real estate listings across Canada and parts of the Caribbean. Her experience includes valuations of over $4 billion worth of hotel real estate, with a specialized breadth of knowledge on the dynamics of the financial and operational aspects of real estate investments, asset management and management contracts. Since joining Colliers, she has successfully assisted on over 120 hotel and resort transactions in addition to debt placement and strategic advisory.

As Vice President of Canadian hotel brokerage operations for Colliers, Robin focuses on client management and acts as a liaison between buyers and sellers, managing information requirements to ensure a streamlined and efficient process that meets set timelines. She is also a guest writer for Global Hotel Network and Hotelier Magazine and a frequent speaker at hotel industry events. She holds her Advanced Certification in Hotel Real Estate and Hotel Investments from Cornell University.

Bill Stone

Executive Vice President, CBRE Hotels
Graduate, Hospitality & Tourism Management, 1983

Bill joined CBRE in 2010 to lead one of the largest and most comprehensive hotel brokerage firms in Canada, specializing in the sale of lodging properties, as well as providing financing and structuring advice. Bill brings a wide array of expertise, having completed advisory and brokerage work in every province and in the top three markets within each province over the past 28 years. He has been involved in over 300 Canadian hotel and resort transactions, valued in excess of $6 billion in his career, with his experience spanning single asset and portfolio sales, independent and branded properties, and from two- to five-star assets. He is an industry resource when assessing hotel values, and during management contract and franchise agreement negotiations.

Vito Curalli

Executive Director of Sales, Canada, Latin America & International Sales, Hilton
Graduate, Hospitality & Tourism Management, 1994

As Hilton’s Executive Director of Sales for Canada, Latin America and the International Sales offices in the Americas, Vito oversees several teams with responsibilities for over $350 Million in revenue. Hilton is one of the largest and fastest growing hospitality companies in the world, with more than 4,900 hotels, resorts and timeshare properties comprising more than 758,000 rooms in 105 countries and territories. Prior to joining Hilton, Vito was the Vice President of Development for AFM Hospitality, overseeing a team of franchise development managers throughout Canada.

Vito holds an MBA from the University of Guelph's Hospitality and Tourism Management School. He received his CHA designation in 2016. Vito has taught Sales and Marketing Courses at the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality & Tourism Management and currently sits on several boards including the TRSM Dean’s Council, the Hotel Association of Canada, and Humber’s School of Hospitality Advisory Board.

Kevin Frid

Chief Operating Officer, North & Central America, AccorHotels

Kevin Frid is Chief Operating Officer, North & Central America for AccorHotels, a world-leading travel and lifestyle group and digital innovator offering unique experiences in more than 4,000 hotels, resorts and residences, as well as in over 2,500 of the finest private homes around the globe. As a key senior leader within AccorHotels, Mr. Frid has operational responsibility for 88 hotels across the North & Central America region. This includes hotels such as Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York, Fairmont San Francisco, Sofitel Chicago, The Plaza in New York City, Fairmont Grand Del Mar and Novotel Montreal Centre. Mr. Frid, an accomplished hotelier with an extensive hospitality background spanning more than 40 years, most recently served as president, Americas for FRHI Hotels & Resorts. Prior to joining FRHI’s predecessor in 2000, Mr. Frid spent 18 years with Canadian-based Delta Hotels in various general manager and operations roles, including the position of Senior Vice-President, Operations. Mr. Frid also holds an MBA from Queen’s University.

  

Natalie Ciarallo

Senior Manager, Conferences & Events, Free For All Marketing 
Graduate, Hospitality & Tourism Management, 2011

Natalie recently joined Free For All Marketing as Senior Manager, Conferences & Events and is responsible for designing and executing national conferences and experiential events for a variety of corporate and not-for-profit clients. Previously, she held roles at TD Bank Financial Group as an Event Manager, Program Manager, Employee Experience and Reward & Recognition, and Manager, Communications, Employee Experience and Reward & Recognition.

Natalie was inducted into the Meeting and Incentive Travel (M&IT) Hall of Fame as the Industry Rising Star in 2012, awarded the Ontario Hostelry Institute's Top 30 Under 30 in 2013 and obtained her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2016. In 2017, Natalie was awarded Meeting Professional International (MPI) Toronto's Planner Member of the Year Award.

Glenn Brown

President & CEO, Bento Sushi
Graduate, Hospitality & Tourism Management, 1988

Glenn cultivated his passion for sushi while working in Japan after he graduated from Ryerson in 1988. When he returned to Canada in 1992, he founded Makisushi, Toronto’s first wholesale sushi company whose customers included Pusateris, Rogers Centre and Loblaws. In 2002, Glenn merged his company with Bento Sushi and became partner of what is now Canada’s largest sushi company. A finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006, he is now President and CEO of Bento, which creates over 20 million servings of sushi every year through 600 sushi bar locations, 25 retail locations and six factories.

Janine Massey 

Chief Marketing & Technology Officer, Sunwing Travel Group

Janine Massey (Chapman) is Chief Marketing & Technology Officer for the Sunwing Travel Group with responsibility for leading technology and innovation, e-commerce, brand development, customer relationship marketing, advertising and public relations. She began her career with Signature Vacations in 1997 where she held a variety of leadership positions primarily in Sales, Finance & Yield Management. In 2010, she assumed the role of Vice President Retail, where she led SellOffVacations.com, one of the largest travel agencies in Canada, and Sunwing E-Commerce. Janine focuses on technology and innovation as well as the development and growth of new lines of business within the Group, including the rapidly growing hotel division which includes respected brands like Royalton Luxury Resorts.
