The strategic mission of the Institute for Innovation and Technology Management (IITM) is to find ethical solutions to real-world digital innovation management problems. We understand that these problems are interdisciplinary and, as such, any solution must go beyond traditional views of organization and technology and include ideals of human freedom. Our interest is in practice-oriented research and innovation that assists firms in maintaining agility and competitiveness while supporting democratic norms of freedom and liberty. Our preferred approach is multi-disciplinary collaborative research focused on informing sustainable societies, by developing a deep and critical understanding of the transformative potential of digital technologies.
