Introduction to Midwifery

This course provides an introduction to the profession of midwifery and women's experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenting. Through this course the student will develop an understanding of the model of midwifery in Ontario and internationally, and develop interpersonal and communication skills. Students will have opportunities to learn from women in a role of support and observation.
