Clinical Skills II
This course develops midwifery clinical skills and competencies in preparation for the first midwifery clinical placement. This course will focus on communication and professionalism. Students will develop clinical skills for prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care, including skills utilized in intrapartum monitoring of fetal and parturient well-being in labour, conducting births and suturing.
Weekly Contact: Lab: 3 hrs. Lecture: 2 hrs.
