Changes from 03/29/2023 to 04/05/2023

  • Thursday, March 30, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. - completed
    Updating Autodesk licensing.
    User Impact: Users won't be able to launch Autodesk products during the upgrade. Very brief outage expected.
  • Thursday, March 30, 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. - completed
    Updating XMedius server.
    User Impact: All XMedius users will not be able to use the application or Web Interface until Services have restarted.
  • Friday, March 31, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - completed
    Update TMU Resource and Identity Management System (RMS).
    User Impact: Access to Activation, Self Service and Admin will be intermittent during this period.
  • Friday, March 31, 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - postponed to April 14
    Update Google student calendar.
    User Impact: No visible impact to users since this is a back-end process.
  • Sunday, April 2, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - completed
    Updating datacentre.
    User Impact: There may be intermittent outages to our datacentre and internet connection for admin / academic networks as well as VPN access throughout the day.
  • Sunday, April 2, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - completed
    Updating eHR.
    User Impact: eHR and all related functions will be down during the outage.

Changes from 04/05/2023 to 04/12/2023

  • Thursday, April 6, 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - completed
    Applying assorted fixes and features to Adobe AEM.
    User Impact: None expected as www.torontomu.ca won't be affected.
  • Thursday, April 6, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - completed
    Updating Application servers including CAS.
    User Impact: Access to CAS and my.torontomu portal maybe intermittent during this period. There will be a 2 minute outage for CCS Software, PTI, browser-detector, gai-calendar-api.
  • Friday, April 7, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - completed
    Updating firewall.
    User Impact: There may be longer outages to the internet connection for admin / academic networks as well as VPN access throughout the day..
  • Sunday, April 9, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Cancelled
    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub and all related functions will not be accessible. Content 7 application will also be unavailable.
  • Sunday, April 9, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - completed
    Updating FIS Services.
    User Impact: FIS will not be available during this time frame.

Changes from 04/12/2023 to 04/19/2023

  • Wednesday, April 12, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - completed
    Upgrading XMedius faxing server.
    User Impact: All users will be unable to access the system (SendFax and Web Interface) until the upgrade is completed. A communication to all users will be sent out.
  • Thursday, April 13, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - completed
    Upgrading AEM.
    User Impact: AEM Author production will not be available during this period. The www.torontomu.ca won't be affected.
  • Friday, April 14, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. - completed
    Applying new license file for Papercut (student printing system).
    User Impact: There will be a 5 seconds outage to the Papercut system.
  • Friday, April 14, 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. – completed
    Update Google student calendar.
    User Impact: No visible impact to users since this is a back-end process.

    Updating MyServiceHub & eHR. 
    User Impact:
    • MyServiceHub - no outage.
    • eHR - web services will be down from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. 
  • Sunday, April 23, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - completed
    Upgrading Admin servers.
    User Impact: CFAPS department shared folders will not be available during this period.
