    Blackboard Transact updates.
    User Impact: Possible intermittent unavailability of Papercut for about 5 minutes.
  • Friday, June 2, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - completed
    Apply system updates on CAS.
    User Impact: CAS Web services will be down. Any application using CAS including RUVPN2, Google Workspace, etc. can not accept new login during the downtime.
  • Saturday, June 3, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. - completed
    Updating FIS Services.
    User Impact: FIS will not be available during this time frame.

  • Friday, June 9, 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. - completed
    Update TMU Resource and Identity Management System.
    User Impact: Access to Activation, Self Service and Admin will be intermittent during this period.

    Updating election link in my.torontomu.ca portal.
    User Impact: None expected.
  • Tuesday, June 13, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. - completed
    Deleting all @torontomu.ca Azure accounts.
    User Impact: Users will not be able to login with their @torontomu.ca Azure accounts. Users should continue using @ryerson.ca accounts. All data/settings associated with the accounts will be deleted. Users were notified and given the opportunity to backup the data.

    Applying assorted fixes and features to Adobe AEM.
    User Impact: None expected as www.torontomu.ca won't be affected.
  • Thursday, June 15, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. - completed
    Updating Solidworks licensing.
    User Impact: Users won't be able to launch software during upgrade.
  • Thursday, June 15, 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - completed
    Upgrading ADS servers.
    User Impact: During the upgrade process the apps hosted on these servers will be inaccessible for a short time (a few minutes). As the upgrade is performed outside of business hours the impact should be slight.
  • Friday, June 16, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - completed
    Updating AEM.
    User Impact: None expected. www.torontomu.ca will be available.

  • Wednesday, June 21, 10:00 p.m. to 10:01 p.m. - completed
    Updating VPN.
    User Impact: Computers should update automatically the next time the computer connects to VPN. This includes RU-VPN, Vendor VPN, Student VPN. No action needs to be taken.
  • Thursday, June 22, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. - completed
    Updating MATLAB.
    User Impact: Users will not be able to launch software during the upgrade as a short outage is expected.

    Updating my.torontomu portal.
    User Impact: my.torontomu portal will not be available for about 15 minutes during this period.

    User Impact: None expected.
