Helmut Pastrick is Chief Economist for Central Credit Union 1, the central financial facility and trade association for the B.C. and Ontario credit union systems. Helmut leads a department responsible for providing economic analysis and forecasts to credit unions and the public at large. Prior to joining the Central 1 Credit Union in 1997, he spent many years with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation analyzing and forecasting the housing market and economy. Helmut is former President of the Association of Professional Economists of BC, a member of the Canadian Association for Business Economics, and the BC Economic Forecast Council.
Central 1 represents a consumer-oriented, full-service retail financial system that serves 3.3 million members and holds $110 billion in assets and is owned primarily by its member credit unions in B.C. and in Ontario.

Peter is a well-known professional land economist and forecaster and is Vice President and Chief Economist at Altus Group. Widely quoted in the Canadian media, Mr. Norman is a frequent expert witness on economic matters and leads a national team of economic consultants advising private and public sector organizations across Canada, providing economic intelligence and strategic information.
Mr. Norman earned a BA at Trent University and an MA at the University of Guelph, has sat on the Executive Committee of the Toronto Association of Business and Economics, the Economic Research Committee of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association and is a member of the Association of Ontario Land Economists and a member of Lambda Alpha International, an Honourary Society for the Advancement of Land Economics.

Will provides economic analysis relating to housing markets, including economic and housing market forecasts, demographic studies, housing project feasibility studies, and expert witness testimony. In addition, he is the Chief Economist for the Mortgage Professionals Canada (formerly the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals). Will’s website – www.wdunning.com – provides “Housing Market Digest”, which is a monthly review of the housing market in the Greater Toronto Area, and other reports. Will has a BA in Economics (McGill University) and an MA in Economics (University of British Columbia).
