Training for instructors

The DMP provides a number of D2L Brightspace training options for staff and faculty.

Please review the list of training options below. Click for details of the training, registration and schedule (where applicable).

Registration form links can be found in the section related to the training. All training sessions require that you register to attend, except the Troubleshooting Drop-In Clinic.

If you do not see a specific date appear on the registration form, the session may already be filled.

What is a troubleshooting drop-in?

This is not a workshop, but 15 minutes of one-on-one time focused on addressing a specific task or challenge in the setup of your D2L course shell.

Due to the time limitations, we cannot cover an Introduction to D2L during this time, and recommend attending a workshop before coming to the drop-in.

 To participate, you will need:

  • A current course shell. If you don't have one yet, please request your course shell now.
  • Your my.ryerson username and password - make sure you can login before coming!
  • Your two-factor authentication device (mobile, U2F or OTV generator) or backup codes.
