Andrew Young

Class of 2011

Andrew Young is Founder and Director of Vaccine Hunters Canada (external link) , a volunteer community with the mission of connecting eligible Canadians with COVID-19 vaccines. During his undergrad, Andrew was an executive member of the Information Technology Management Students' Association (ITMSA) and served as President in his final year.  Andrew was also an executive member of the inaugural Ted Rogers Management Conference team in 2010-2011.

"My advice for students is to actively look for opportunities to help others - friends, classmates, and even complete strangers! A simple gesture can mean the world to a person. Join student groups, volunteer at events on campus and in the community, or start your own initiative: these experiences and relationships with people you meet last long after graduation!"

Andrew worked at CIBC and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) during his undergrad through the co-operative education program. Immediately after graduating, he had roles at TD Bank and The Hospital for Sick Children. Currently, he is a Web Developer at Toronto Metropolitan University.
