Areas of ExpertiseProject thesis involves interstitial needle microendoscopy and is titled "Mosquito Bite Needle Endoscopy". A unique generation of multicore optic fibers is created for the development of an Acupuncture Needle Interstitial Endoscope for less Small invasive diagnostics of breast and thyroid pathology and lesions. A 185-190 micron thick needle endoscope is proposed with while light, fluorescence, and Raman capabilities for the real time diseased state classification of breast and thyroid lesions.
