Say Thanks

Keyboard, plant, coffee mug, pen and a thank you card on the top of a desk.

Say Thanks is the informal recognition program at Ryerson. Informal recognition happens in real time, is less prescribed than formal programs like awards, and communicates the value of an individual or team contribution. It is often delivered by someone who is most familiar with the contribution.

Showing appreciation for one another is a great way to demonstrate Ryerson's commitment to the values of excellence, the whole person, and community and inclusion. Saying thanks encourages us all to acknowledge the contributions of those around us. Simple acts of kindness like a sincere "thank you" or a handwritten note of appreciation go a long way towards making people feel valued and engaged in their work.
