Interested in competitive badminton, squash, or extreme kayaking? Perhaps you want to learn more about karate, trampoline, or kendo?

Think about joining one of Toronto Met's recreational or competitive clubs to break the rigor of your academic schedule and make connections with the TMU community. Clubs reflect diverse sports and fitness interests, and offer you the chance to gain skills and for some, actively compete for the university.

Recreational Clubs - Clubs that focus on increasing participation, providing instruction, and creating a social network of individuals within the TMU community based on a shared interest in sport.

Competitive Clubs - Clubs that focus on preparation and participation in competition against other post-secondary institutions in exhibitions, regional leagues, or tournament play.

Varsity Clubs - Clubs that prepare and compete against other post-secondary institutions on a provincial (OUA or equivalent), and in some cases a national (U Sport) level, including a formally recognized championship.

*Note: Varsity Clubs and most Competitive Clubs have tryouts. For more information visit the club page on the TMU Bold Athletics website (external link)  and email the “Club Contact”.
