Refunds

The OneCard Office is unable to process in-person refund requests at this time. Students who would like to receive a refund on remaining funds on their OneCard may do so by emailing onecard@ryerson.ca from their Ryerson email account. OneCard staff will provide additional instructions on how to process your refund request via email.

Refunds to accounts on your OneCard must be requested by emailing onecard@ryerson.ca.

Administrative fee

  • 5% if the refund amount is over $50
  • $2.50 if the amount is under $50

Ryerson Eats (RUEats)

Administrative fee

  • 5% if the refund amount is over $50

  • 5% if the refund amount is over $50
  • $2.50 if the amount is under $50

Non-refundable accounts

Eligibility

Student OneCards are active from September 1 to August 31 of an academic year. OneCards are automatically reactivated each September based on your student registration with the university. All funds are carried over from year-to-year with your continued enrollment at Ryerson University unless refunds are requested.

If as of September 1st of an academic year you do not return to Ryerson University as a registered student you have until October 31 of that year to claim any balance on your OneCard. Refunds not claimed within the noted period become the property of Ryerson University.
