Women, Islam and Modernity
Posters in this virtual exhibit were created as part of a CELT (Community Engaged Learning & Teaching) initiative, in the course SOC 885: Women, Islam and Modernity, taught by Dr. Amina Jamal. Through a process of research, discussions and creative input, students developed posters for public engagement, and to raise awareness on multidisciplinary perspectives to issues concerning Muslim women in Canada and transnational contexts.
