CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

    Updating Coldfusion server.
    User Impact: Coldfusion,and all other applications supported by Oracollab will not be available. All end users have been notified.

    Updating Transact app.
    User Impact: None expected.
  • Saturday, May 4, 10:00 p.m. to Sunday, May 5, 8:00 a.m.
    Updating wireless controller.
    User Impact: None expected as upgrade done overnight.
  • Sunday, May 5, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    Upgrading JOR wireless access points.
    User Impact: None expected. Access points in JOR will be upgraded at random preventing any large outage areas.
  • Monday, May 6, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
    Updating Cold Fusion.
    User Impact: During the last half hour applications at *.cf.torontomu.ca will be unavailable.

  • Thursday, May 9, 12:00 a.m. to Monday, May 13, 1:00 a.m.
    Upgrading eHR system.
    User Impact:eHR production all related functions will be down on May 12th only.
  • Friday, May 10, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
    Updating SSL certificates for *.ce.torontomu.ca.
    User Impact: No outage is expected with this change.
  • Friday, May 10, 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
    Updating SSL certificates for *.prodint.torontomu.ca & *.ccs.torontomu.ca
    User Impact: No outage is expected with this change.

    User Impact: my.torontomu.ca, CAS, RUVPN2, RMS Account Activation will not be available.

    User Impact: Access to all CAS and uPortal instances, RMS Activation, Self Service and Admin will be unavailable. Google Workspace, eHR, TMU-VPN, MyServiceHub and D2L cannot accept new login during the downtime.

    Updating Content 7 servers.
    User Impact: During this outage, Content Experience (content.torontomu.ca) will not be available, and student uploads will be brought down.
  • Tuesday, May 14, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    Updating ADS application server.
    User Impact: The following ADS Java applications will be down during this time: Senate apps, Honorary Doctorate, PFACS, Curriculum Insights, OneCard services (used by the Exam Attendance and Convocation apps), Midwifery, Academic Integrity, Creative Industries Internship, Early Childhood Studies, FCAD Internship tracking, Grad Teaching Development Program, OneCard, Tutors Marketplace, CCS Forms, Parking, Exam Seating and Attendance, and FCADI apps.
  • Sunday, May 26, 1:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.
    Updating ServiceNow.
    User Impact: None expected.
  • Saturday, June 1, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    Updating eHR.
    User Impact: eHR Production will be down from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The non-production environments will be down briefly.
  • Sunday, June 9, 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub Production will be down from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.  All non-production environments will be down briefly during the outage.
  • Saturday, July 27, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyService Hub production will remain up and running. The non-production environments will be down briefly.
  • Sunday, September 1, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub production will be down from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.  All non-production environments will be down briefly during the outage.
  • Sunday, October 27, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    User Impact: MyService Hub production will remain up and running. The non-production environments will be down briefly.
