CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

    User Impact: None expected.
  • Wednesday, June 13, 10:00 PM to June 14, 12:00 AM
    Upgrading Datacenter 2 switches. (RFC-579)
    User Impact: No outage is expected for dual homed systems. Three (3) minutes outage for single homed systems.
  • Thursday, June 14, 10:00 PM to June 15, 12:00 AM
    Upgrading Datacenter 1 switches. (RFC-580)
    User Impact: No outage is expected for dual homed systems. Three (3) minutes outage for single homed systems.
  • Friday, June 15, 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM
    Applying update to some web service production servers. (RFC-547)
    User Impact: Various services and applications will be unavailable during this time frame.
  • Friday, June 15, 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM
    Upgrading border firewall cluster. (RFC-572)
    User Impact: No outage is anticipated.
  • Sunday, June 24, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
    Installing patch update on HR and UAT search servers. (RFC-577)
    User Impact: Searching functionality within HR and Candidate gateway will be impacted.
  • Friday, TBD - deferred
    Upgrading eHR and applying year end tax updates. (RFC-537)
    User Impact: eHR will not be available for the duration of the outage. TAI and RIS will not be able to connect to eHR during the outage.
