BC Regional WEKH Hub launches at Simon Fraser University's VentureLabs
The BC Regional Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub at Simon Fraser University's VentureLabs held its first event on June 4, 2019, bringing together nearly 100 women entrepreneurship support organizations, entrepreneurs, academics and government representatives to exchange ideas and hear from a panel of experts about building the capacity for women entrepreneurship in Canada. Erin Roach, Executive Director of the Diversity Institute introduced the Women Entrepreneurship Hub (WEKH), external link to attendees while the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business and Export Promotions, made an announcement about a $16.1 million investment in Canadian women entrepreneurs.
