Professional Development

SciXchange recognizes the importance and challenge of recognizing Indigenous cultures and knowledges within the workplace and the classroom. It is more often than not something team members, teachers and students may have little to no experience with, making it difficult to speak openly about it and access unbiased resources. 

To combat this obstacle, SciXchange offers professional development opportunities for teams and educators alike to learn about incorporating Indigenous knowldege and science with material that is designed and curated by our Indigenous Knowledge and Outreach Coordinator, Caleb Wesley. Caleb will work with your team to deliver a workshop that is most effective for your workplace structure and needs.
