Anna Chartres, Regional Director Talent and Culture, is responsible for  all human resource operations for Accor Hotels in Central Canada, overseeing more than 2,200 employees – including 1,250 at her home base, Toronto’s iconic Fairmont Royal York Hotel.

With over 30 years as a human resources practitioner, her career has spanned the globe. Anna began her career in her native homeland, New Zealand, and then moved to Canada, where she  worked for a number of brands but settled at Fairmont 20 years ago.

Anna holds a Certified Human Executive designation (CHRE),  has been a  continuing education professor at George Brown College and serves on a number of human resource related board of directors. In April of 2018 she was inducted as a Fellow of the Ontario Hostelry Institute.
