TRSM Named Hosts of 2019 MBA Games

April 18, 2018

Ryerson University will be the site for the 2019 MBA Games, to be organized and hosted by the Ted Rogers MBA.

The MBA Games, which first began at Queen’s University in 1988, is an annual event featuring teams from MBA programs across Canada competing in athletic, academic and spirit challenges for the Queen’s Cup.

“Our MBA students who participated in the 2018 MBA Games in Ottawa are delighted to be the host university, as are our alumni and faculty,” says Dale Carl, Director, Graduate Students for Ted Rogers MBA. “It will be a lot of work, but it will be exciting, and we plan to present a great event!”

The 2018 Games had 17 schools and 600 MBA students participating. Ted Rogers’ MBA team, consisting of 40 full-time and part-time students, placed second overall in the competition this year.

Next year’s event will have four case competitions held at the Ted Rogers School of Management building and four sporting events taking place in various Ryerson sports facilities, including the Mattamy Centre, formerly the iconic Maple Leaf Gardens.
