The Student Guide is the official companion to Ryerson's Undergraduate Calendar. This online guide summarizes the policies, fees, procedures and services you’ll need to know as a Ryerson student.

The Undergraduate Calendar is the official statement of programs and courses approved by the Ryerson University Senate. It is updated every academic year, so make sure to check back for the most up-to-date information pertaining to your program.

Student Health & Wellness

To better serve students’ health and wellness, Ryerson University has three main areas of support:

  1. Centre for Student Development and Counselling
  2. Medical Centre
  3. Health Promotion

Ryerson Health Certificate and other Academic Consideration Requests

All documentation in support of any academic consideration request, including medical, other unforeseen circumstances, religious, aboriginal and spiritual observance, athletic competitions, etc. must be submitted to your program department.

Safer Sex & Menstrual Supplies, external link, opens in new window

The Centre offers a variety of sexual health, menstrual and hygiene supplies. Many of the supplies can be found just outside the office in SCC313 on the resource table, with more selection available inside the Centre.

The Good Food Centre, external link, opens in new window

The GFC provides hunger relief for those struggling with financial obligations, poverty and underemployment. Through several services we assist full and part-time students, staff, and faculty from the Ryerson community to overcome financial obstacles by providing access to food through a drop-in food bank, workshops and educational events.

Program offerings include CIS, OUA and  competitive Club teams, many of which are nationally ranked; recreational and fitness programs offered to both Ryerson students and the surrounding community; world class facilities; and an extensive outreach program that both immerses our student-athletes in service activities and invites the community onto campus to utilize our facilities.

TRSM Student Awards

TRSM and Ryerson offer many awards and scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students. Students are eligible at several levels: faculty-wide, program-specific and university-wide awards, opens in new window.

Money for School

This guide provides a general overview of financial literacy, including reading materials, videos and personal finance workshops at Ryerson University.

Career Boost Program

The program provides on-campus employment to eligible full time undergraduate students returning to Ryerson. The program works in partnership with academic units, administrative units, faculty, staff and students to support the practice and scholarship of learning at Ryerson University.

Including part-time career fair, new grad career fair, and summer work experience fair.

Academic Accommodation Support

AAS is for students living with disabilities looking for help with their academic accommodations... AAS works with students to create and implement individualized academic accommodation plans so students can more fully participate in their studies whether at the certificate, undergraduate or graduate level.
