Writing Specialist

Book an individual appointment with our English Language Specialist to discuss questions related to your academic writing needs. You will have a chance to improve your writing as a result of professional feedback and ongoing support.

Some topics you may explore in a 30 minute writing consultation include:

  • Brainstorming ideas for an assignment
  • Structuring your writing
  • Grammar and vocabulary
  • Questions about writing at any stage
  • Avoiding plagiarism by using appropriate citations and references
  • Understanding and implementing the feedback from your TA/GA or Professor

To get the most out of the session, we encourage you to come prepared. Bring your assignment rubric, any writing you have already done, and feedback you have received, thus far.
