Our experienced catering team will work with you to plan the menu for your next event. Whether for a meeting, banquet, or social gathering, our dedicated team offers delivery and full service event catering. Ryerson Eats is the on-campus catering provider and holds the exclusive license for the sale and service of alcoholic beverages on campus.

Changes to our catering services in response to COVID-19

As Ryerson continues to respond to the challenges COVID-19 presents to our community, we have made adjustments to our regular catering services to continue to provide healthy and delicious meals, all while ensuring the health and safety of our guests and staff.

In an effort to continue offering high quality meals and service to the Ryerson community, we are implementing the following protocols on all catering orders as a response to COVID-19:

  • Transitioning buffet-style offerings to individually wrapped and boxed meals served by a Food Services attendant
  • Increasing the frequency by which high contact surfaces and equipment are cleaned, disinfected and monitored. This will also include:
    • Staffing food displays and serving surfaces with a Food Services attendant for cleaning and monitoring
  • Revising catering menu items to ensure they are compliant with COVID-19 health and safety best practices, including:
    • Transitioning open platter menu items to individually wrapped and boxed meals with clear labeling to minimize guest contact with items
    • Redesigning our catering menu to only include menu items that minimize the possibility of cross contact or food contamination
  • All beverages will be served by a Food Services attendant and water will not be left on tables for self-service
  • Providing individually wrapped condiments and disposable cutlery to guests

Food Services is happy to work with you to ensure your next catered event meets our high standard of health and safety protocols. Our team will work with you to determine a maximum occupancy for each catered event or meeting to ensure this meets physical distancing requirements. Each catering order will also be evaluated for its planned event or meeting setup and tear down.
