Dean’s Message to the Lincoln Alexander School of Law Community

June 25, 2021

I know that the Covid pandemic has been a serious challenge for all of us, but please know that we are with you during this difficult period. I want to extend a sincere thank you to all those providing essential services to our communities.

The Lincoln Alexander School of Law has been collaborating with the rest of the University as the Covid-19 situation unfolds. We are monitoring the situation closely as we continue to plan for the arrival of the law school’s Class of 2023. For now, our operations have shifted online as we make practical use of technology and the innovative approach embedded in the design of the law school. Our faculty and administration are hard at work preparing for our incoming class and I want to assure you that everything is on track for the law school’s opening in the fall.

I encourage you to take care of yourselves and loved ones, to reach out to others, and to stay positive. We know that you are likely to have questions as we work through this developing situation. We will provide additional information as we receive further guidance from public health officials and from the university.

Watch for updates on Toronto Metropolitan University’s COVID-19 website.

Be well and stay safe,

Donna E. Young
Dean, Lincoln Alexander School of Law
